Mission Viejo dental specialist Dr. Kamila Szczepaniec was born in Krakow, Poland and emigrated to New York City as a teenager. She completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the prestigious New York University, College of Art and Sciences. She then remained at New York University, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from College of Dentistry. Dr. Kamila continued her dental studies at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn completing General Practice Residency with an emphasis in Pediatric Dentistry. It is where she received the Resident of the Year Award.
She has been practicing full-time as a general dentist since 2008. She especially enjoys treating children, creating an interactive environment to ensure a positive experience for her younger patients. Using her psychology background she is equipped to work with apprehensive individuals and assists them to work through their dental phobias. She focuses her continuing education studies to further her knowledge in minimally invasive dentistry and esthetic dentistry. She strives to create beautiful and natural looking smiles for the whole family. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and Orange County Dental Society.
